Game Thread Orange Bowl: tOSU vs Clemson, Jan 3, 8:30 ET, ESPN

I like watching the games i'm not so confident the bucks will win. Not so good for my stress levels but damn it's a lot more entertaining. Still, watching the games you know they'll win is pretty diehard buckeye too... anyone who watched the F A&M game is a diehard fan in my book...

I would rather watch a game like the MSU game 100 times than a game like the Florida A&M game. Yeah it was frustrating but it was also exciting as hell. The 24-0 to take the lead against a top 10 team. we were 1 play away from breaking that game open it just didn't happen. Very exciting.

Am I the only one who gets nervous before every game, like I'm in someway participating? The FAMU game? I was just as nervous as I would be if tOSU was playing the 85 Bears. Football is quirky that way.

Yep. Wish I could be excited about this game, but I'm afraid it will have to be a direct-to-record event. I'll keep an eye on the game thread on here, and find out if I actually want to see it or not.
I don't really care what it's called. I don't enjoy watching them lose. Maybe some people do. There's a term for that, too. I think it's called masochism.

"How firm thy friendship... O-HI-O!"

That's an exclamation point at the end, not a question mark.

I'm not calling anyone out on their viewing preferences, but strictly speaking for myself, I would rather watch a close game than a blowout.
Although sometimes it's fun just to see how many points the Bucks can put up, I would much rather watch those games that have me yelling, screaming, cheering, and pacing around the living room. THAT'S the excitement of college football to me. As long as I'm stocked up on my heart meds and booze, I'm fine!
Those wins are much more enjoyable and satisfying that a 72-0 blowout.

I watched it when it was broadcast and have rewatched it twice since. I have zero problems watching us destroy another team...none.

True I had forgotten state penns scholly restrictions dropping them to FCS status. Dang at this point they have to be at what? 25 players?
Wrong. You had forgotten, because absolutely no one talks about it, that psu imploded long before the sanctions thanks to retaining an ancient coach. There is also the nw level of success that they had in this league.

They signed one decent recruiting class every four years, signed poor ones the other three and routinely got worked by freaking pitt when it came to recruiting. So much so that their home turf in recruiting was Maryland.

The sanctions prevented BoB from rebuilding but they buried themselves. Not that anyone noticed before or after the drama.

I don't disagree with you but I was just referring to how on BWI they always refer to the scholly number they're working with and it seems to keep getting lower as they lose games . You're right though that the slide was a long time coming and a lot of people forget that because of their mild success once every four years
