It’s Ole Miss. It keeps things as stable as they can for this year’s playoffs and saves money for making a splash hire when they can him in a year or two. Sort of an all in move for this year knowing that they likely won’t often be in the hunt going forward.

I just think its funny that Lane gave the coaching staff an ultimatum to join him at LSU, and a number of them declined

I don't get the hate. It's not like they're Bama. They've been mostly irrelevant forever. I get laughing at their school and the whole look how classy and sophisticated we are in our ties and blazers at games, just don't look at our 900 SAT scores.

Also, I believe that Ohio State holds a slight series lead if you just count games after WW1. The cheaters' lead is completely based on the first 9 or 10 matchups before the forward pass was invented.
