So it looks like Ole Miss was 7-1 in conference and LSU was 7-1 in conference. I would guess many conferences would call both "co-division champions". Ohio State gets to claim "co-division champions" in 2016 (though I don't think that's posted anywhere).
The goofier one is 2012 - Ohio State was 8-0 and division champions for Big Ten Leaders division. But Wisconsin got to play in the championship game, despite a 4-4 record. This was because the Big Ten followed the NCAA's lead in taking away Ohio State's post-season in 2012, because they had unfair magic tattoos in 2010, and those players were no longer on the team. Also, Penn State was 6-2 and also not allowed to play, because the Big Ten wasn't happy with Penn State's unwritten policy of covering up for child predators. I think Penn State posted that year on their ring of pretty good seasons, but maybe I'm confusing that with another season.
