Uncommitted offensive lineman Marcus Hall (Cleveland/Glenville) led a huge group of prospects in Ohio Stadium Saturday night on unofficial visits. Hall seemed to echo the sentiments of just about all of the prospects in attendance, saying he was very impressed despite the Buckeyes' loss.
"The atmosphere was great," Hall said. "We got to do the walk in front of the team from the hotel to the 'Skull Session.' It was crazy how many people know Glenville and know us individually."
The Ohio State offensive line had trouble opening holes for the running game against Penn State, which in the long run could help the Buckeyes' cause in regards to landing Hall.
"It was a good game by Ohio State's defense," Hall said. "The offense struggled a little, mainly the offensive line. It looks like the opportunity to play is there. After the performance [Saturday night] and seeing how many seniors [on the line] are leaving, that thought was in my head."
The 6-foot-6, 300-pound Hall has scheduled an official visit to Ohio State for the weekend of Dec. 5. In addition to Ohio State, Hall will visit Miami the weekend of Dec. 12.
"Illinois will be sometime in January," he said. "LSU hasn't been set up, but that's another one I'll visit. I'm thinking about Alabama or Penn State for my fifth one. I plan to take all five visits."
