I've always thought of Jones as more of a Guard. I like the idea of Prince at LT and Pridgeon on at RT.Pridgeon could possibly slide right into the RT spot, which would move Jones inside. Just a thought...
If you think a guy can help you get the five best OL possible on the field and you feel you have a spot, you take him. Hard to say if they are not pleased with the development of guys like Lisle, Knox, etc. or if they just feel like Pridgeon is better right now. I lean towards the latter.just curious is this a "we got a spot lets use it on the Oline" or is this a sign "were not pleased with the OL dev"
Valid point but I assumed the staff would only bring him in if he was a big enough stud to start right away. And that is either due to his skills or the current roster on the OL not being quite there as a whole. This is a transition season anyway so I welcome competition and see who can stick. Look at Lisle, he has already been eclipsed a little by Prince and they are what- 2 classes apart? I'm not falling in love with a (potential) new signee just looking at 3 starters on the line moving on and looking at potential of putting the best 5 on the field. Regardless, the competition will be fierce in the OL group and the whole team in general. Given that........mat drills for everyone and see which pup is gonna bite.
