Kyle not having his best day so far...

Tom Luginbill has some videos of his 1-on-1's posted on Vine & it looks like he's having some troubles dealing with the speed moves.

Kyle looks like his head is spinning. Thinking too much and getting beat consistently. But we know he's better than this so I'm not worried. The talent is there. Of note he's having trouble with smallish DE's. He actually did better against Hand!

With his frame and athleticism, Kyle's best days are clearly ahead of him. He won't be an instant impact player from day one but the potential for growth is there and his ceiling is very high with the right coaching and development.

I am not at all concerned about how he is performing without pads on in one-on-one line drills when the defender can tee off on every single play.

He just got moved over to RT & won both reps against Gerald Willis. Not putting too much into how he's done in 1-on-1's with no pads. It's pretty much the defensive players match up to lose.

COLUMBUS — Lancaster offensive lineman Kyle Trout added yet another honor to his trophy case Monday when he was named first-team All-Ohio in Division I by the Associated Press.

Trout started all 10 games for the Gales (5-5) this past season and was one of the team’s captains.

The senior is committed to play college football for Ohio State and will graduate from Lancaster early to be able to practice with the Buckeyes this spring.

The 6-foot-5, 315-pound lineman helped lead the way for the Gales’ wing-T attack, which averaged a little more than 240 yards rushing per game in the difficult Ohio Capital Conference-Ohio Division this past season. Trout also earned first-team honors in the OCC and in the Central District.

This is Trout’s second consecutive year being honored by the AP. He was an All-Ohio special mention after the 2012 season.
