OL Justin Boren (Official Thread)

I know a lot of things they throw flags for.....and if late hits from Boren are one of them, then I might be looking forward to seeing him on the field as much as you guys. It doesn't seem like the sort of thing to be boasting about.

Oh you'll see him alright.

He'll be the one trotting into the end zone to celebrate with his team.

Right after he blows another hole into that 3-3-5!!!

And it seems to me that they are boasting about the attitude of the O line and Justin in particular.

As an Ohio State fan I'm very excited to hear about how Ohio State's practices are going.

What are UM fans excited about? Tate? Barwis? Carlos Brown? Another 165 pound running back? The fact that the ones on offense looked ok against the twos on defense? How about that the ones on defense didn't look so hot against the twos on offense?
God it must suck to be a Michigan fan right now.

...I'm sure you won't smile if Schilling shoves Heyward over a pile after the play.

OK, I see what you did there...

Of course HtM will be pleased if Schilling returns the favor. We all remember what Heyward did to him in '07.

But let's be fair here; it wasn't really a pile. It was just "Big Tex" laying on the ground after Gholston had knocked him down (again).

So if Schilling does return the favor, it would be to... what... shove Heyward backwards over the fallen TSUN QB??

Assuming for a moment that Forcier is still playing football in November (a stretch, I know); do you really think he'd survive having Heyward fall 'over' him?

Now that I think about it, I don't think HtM would like that very much at all.

And the tacit reminder that Schilling, who HtM himself called "The Human Turnstile" after the game in question, is TSUN's best returning lineman (because of Boren's return to his home state) is just bad form. I probably shouldn't even give you the positive rep that I'm about to give you for that post.

I have news for you. It never sucks to be a Michigan fan. If one bad season is ever enough to say "it sucks to be a fan" then you (the general audience you) are too spoiled.
Appy State, Oregon, Toledo, 3-9, this very thread's namesake bailing for your archrival, a defense that looks like it could be in real trouble this coming season...it doesn't look too great to me.

See we had this absolutes discussion earlier...

Never? Really?

Not after App State? No after Toledo?

Seriously? You simply shrugged it off and said "Go Blue" or whatever you people say.

Be honest. You owe it to yourself.

Never??

6-6 is the measuring stick being set for this season from those close to the program. If the results match that, it would be UM's 4th bad season in 5 years, and 3rd straight.

Replace the unspeakable M-word with "Buckeye" and you have a statement that I made, nearly verbatim, during the 4-6-1 debut of the Cooper years (which was while I was a student and attended every home game).

Was it painful? Of course. But pain only sucks if you can't take it. And it NEVER sucks to be a fan of The Ohio State University and one of the reasons is because we have rivals like HtM who "get it".

I made the edit...

I shouldn't post when I'm this tired

It's 2:35 in the am on Sunday and I just finished working (checking BP every time I check work-e-mail). I guess I'm working too hard...

But I'm from Ohio... It's what we do
