OL Justin Boren (Official Thread)

Yeah, that's who I was talking about, not Jenkins. And I'll go on record saying All-American honors are out of the question. Best I'd give him is an outside shot at an honorable mention. Honestly, he's good but not a top-15 lineman in the country, and won't be by 2010 either, which is what third-team all-American would require.

If Boren is a second tier lineman, your screwed. You have no one. Turn off the lgihts. :oh:

From BG.....Talks about the move from Michigan to Ohio State. Says he loves the family atmosphere at Ohio State and has no regrets for becoming a Buckeye.

Was thinking about the 2009 line. How does this sound:

Adams-Smith-Brewster-Boren-Shugarts
5*-5*-5*-5*-5*

Well, probably Cordle over Smith.

But we're still looking at 5*-4*-5*-5*-5* line.

WTF, man.

That would be great with Cordle. Smith hasn't proved himself .Boren was a beast at scum

"He's going to get what's coming to him."

Oooohhhhh. From that scary defense that's going to suck even more next season??

The red and green (I'm assuming he has green on the other wrist) wrist bands are priceless.

I'm just amazed they are still running their mouth about Barwis, who is so amazing he was able to help produce 2 wins in 9 games. That is some awesomeness if I ever saw some. Great choice for Justin to join the good guys.

Don't take this as me defending Barwis, but the head coach over there hasn't been giving in favors to anyone on that team. Running a 3-3-5 and a spread offense for a team designed to do very different things is going to piss off much more than the players, I'd imagine. :tongue2:

But yes, Justin is looking like a genius for leaving that mess. He's shown he's smart, that's for sure!

Ditto this...I mean, I get that we want to laugh at their Barwis love, but blaming him for their season? I mean, are people laughing at Lichter because of 35-3? I sure hope not.

Having said that, I'd be interested in hearing how Justin is enjoying the S&C setup at tOSU...as we all know it's a tough program. Would seemingly dispell (yet again) the whole silly "soft" notion.

But then, people around here don't talk about Lichter in quite the same terms as they have been talking about Barwis all year.
