More than anything, the slew of OL taken in the draft last year could effect Jack more than anything. But a good showing at the Senior Bowl will go a long way for him.

As Columbus rejoiced in Ohio State’s football victory over Michigan, earned seven hours earlier, Jack Mewhort lowered his massive body into a tub of 40-degree water.
Mewhort knew only inflammation, not celebration. The Buckeyes’ starting left offensive tackle sat in the frigid water to soothe aching joints and muscles as part of his preparation for the Big Ten championship game in one week.
The recovery process for Mewhort continued the next day, as it did every Sunday after a game this season when the senior’s 6-foot-6, 306-pound body ached.
Cont'd ...
Oh I do not think there is any doubt that he will get a shot at the next level. From what I have read, is rated as one of the top LT's coming out and it also has been mentioned that he could play guard at the next level.Nice interview with Jack on BTN Live. I hope he gets a shot at the next level.

Jack Mewhort, OT, Ohio State
Despite a few miscues during the game, Mewhort helped his draft stock last week. We were impressed with his technique and overall balance in his movements, and he showed above-average inline capabilities as a run-blocker plus nice patience with his sets in pass protection. Mewhort now sits squarely in the second-round range and adds depth to what is developing into a strong class of offensive tackles
Wasn't Mewhort...Was it Jack Mewhort who had a bad game against Mack in the Buffalo game ?? A lot of sports analyst have stated that this game against Ohio State put Mack in the hi-light reels. And I am hoping that Corey Linsley will get drafted in todays round.
