Connor Smith

</TD><TD noWrap width=3></TD><TD vAlign=top>By Bucknuts.com Staff
Date: May 27, 2005

The Ohio High Top 100 countdown is at No. 4, where we find blue-chip offensive lineman Connor Smith of Cincinnati Colerain. Smith has emerged as one of the top prospects in the nation and has the scholarship offers to back it up. We also have an update on Smith from Dave Biddle, who had the chance to talk with both Connor and his father Joe Smith, who played under Woody Hayes and coachces at Colerain. Read on for more.

Conner is considered the #4 prospect in the 2006 class. He is described as mean, nasty and big.

It did not register before now but Mr Smith was my vet for a couple of years. We talked OSU for 20 min and my poor dog Marley was secondary. Pooch got like 30 seconds, yea your too fat, cut back on his food. Now when I played for Earl......

This guy BLEEDS S&G, there is no way his son would go to scum, no way. This is a done deal.

I'm not saying those guys and H&G don't know what they're talking about, but when you read threads about Connor Smith on the BN site pay attention to what Phxbuck says about Smith. It's pretty much the only thing he comments on. I can't say who he is because it's not my place, but it's hard for me to believe anyone commenting on this situation is any closer to the Smith family than him. He has not indicated that this is a done deal and continues to make it obvious that Joe and the rest of the family will support Connor no matter where he goes.

Hmm... those two usernames look strangely similar...
but back on topic, few are saying he is an OSU lock. At one point a Recruit can have one team out in front without contention from any other school, and then turn around later and change his mind.

BuckeyeFROMscUM,

I assure you phxbuck and myself are not the same person. I know who he is and we both live in the Phoenix area, that's it. But like I said before, phxbuck could not be more close to the recruitment of Connor Smith unless he was Connor Smith, which he is not. There are probably some posters on this board who know who he is and who I am.

Go Bucks!!! In Tress We Trust.

That was more just to negate the guys who needed CPR...

Throw a dog a bone y'know?

I just can't stand to see negativity regarding a kid during his recruitment...99% of the people on this board do not realize how stressful and confusing the process really is. People can say what they want about George Brown, but the man is taking the heat for his son.

Anyway, back to Connor...
