OL Alex Boone (Official Thread)

So, he didn't travel at all on Saturday, but is at 100% as of Sunday? A mind game has already been played, regardless of whether Boone plays this week or not. Right now, English has no idea who will be lined up at that tackle spot, because if we don't know then he doesn't know.

Of course it works both ways. Is MM really back? Who does Jenkins cover on Saturday?

Jim Cordle moving over to play some left tackle has me worried. Its good for Jim but I'm starting to wonder if we aren't going to hear something very bad this week regarding Alex's condition for the scUm game.:paranoid:
Maybe Schaefer's performance against Illinois has something to do with Cordle playing LT.

the best, I mean absolutely definitely the BEST thing about Tressel is the magic he unveils for the big games, but especially Michigan.

He outcoaches Carr.
He outcoaches Weis.
He outcoaches Mack Brown.
He outcoaches Coker.

If all else were equal, that is still worth 7 points' spread right there.

Then, we have two backs (Pittman and Beanie) to their one.

We have Troy Smith, and they don't. Simple. Henne will be wearing a Depends under his yellow pants this weekend.

Finally, we have an opportunistic defense, which we DIDN'T have last year - a positive turnover margin, twenty-freakin'two interceptions, zero points off turnovers...

I'm not saying it's going to be a blowout because we haven't seen one of those for along time.

But it will be a good victory.

Manningham is the only scum starting skill player that I would take over OSU's second string offensive skill players. Not counting FB or TE since I don't really know anything about those guys either way.

In case anyone was wondering during the Indiana/Butler basketball game tonight ESPN's bottom line said "Ohio State OT Alex Boone will play this week vs. michigan". Hey ESPN said it so it has to be gospel right?!:shake:

Actually I'm going to consider this good news, although I'm usually overly optimistic.

I'm not sure that is such good news. I mean, hey, he can clear out under the basket, but can he make it up and down the floor with the knee just rehabbing?
