I wasn't listening really closely, but, after he noted that the player had been kicked off the team for committing a sexual assault, it sounded like he said something like "We sure hope the young man gets his life back together." Which, to me, seems like a really strange thing to say about someone who committed a sexual assault, as opposed to, oh, I don't know, the victim of that assault. Maybe I misheard, but my wife and I immediately looked at one another, sort of confused about the way he worded the statement.
