Ohio University to play Ohio State in 2008

Miami's crowd also exudes snot from every pore by the bushel for the most part. I once had one of their alums tell me with a straight face that going there was on a par with going to the Ivy League. I think that's what his daddy told him so he could keep his little chin up.

Living in the southern end of the state, I've worked with tons of Miami's product. The vast majority were deeply unpleasant frat rats with delusions of never ending entitlement. On the other hand, while I have met the occasional OSU product who was a jackass, by and large the OSU'ers were much more pleasant to be around.

And for the record, I'm not an OSU educational product myself. I went to Wright State (which more than one Miami alum jackass tried to make fun of to my face, usually right after bragging how much booze they consumed in school and how close they came to flunking out).

Something we can agree on, Muck Fiami!

Hey hey hey

We don't need to discuss how horrible the graduates of athletically and academically irrelevant universities from Miami can be

Aren't the Bobcats a (horrors) spread team? :(

Not 100% of the time. We do run traditional sets to run power football. But that was with Kalvin McRae who was better running from power sets. In addition our QBs were not what you would consider a spread option QB.

But Solich has been recruiting QBs that are better suited for the spread option game and as one of them finally saw the field last year we were running more spread option. So most Ohio fans are expecting more spread next year.

Well, hopefully OU will be able to pass the ball They sure as hell won't be able to run the ball.

Well, we do have some decent TEs that can catch the ball. And gawd knows OSU can't defend TEs. :paranoid:

Where is that sarcasm font when I need it?

Come on, what's Ohio U known for?

Halloween parties

Riots due to the parties

and Hippies.....

that's it, seriously....unless you want to count rampant jealousy judging from the Bobcatattack site...

OU has one of the better journalism schools in the country. and their communication program is pretty darn good as well.

Journalism, communications and physical therapy!

Ahhh, the cornerstones of any great university. I know because whenever I visit the websites of Harvard or Yale or Chicago or Berkeley, the first thing they mention is how good their frickin' communication and physical therapy programs are.

Let me know how OU's law, engineering, medical or business schools rank. Let me know how their departments of history, political science, english, philosophy, physics, chemistry or mathematics rank. Those are the foundation for a great university.

Next, we'll have the idiots from Kent State over here telling us how they're our equal because of liquid crystals.
