Ohio State Wrestling (2015/2017/2018 B1G Champs, 2015 National Champs, 2019 National Runners-up)

great start to the season. didn't realize that VATech was #3. Especially good start to the young? Buckeyes. Guess might have to subscribe to B10+? Who else than PSU will be in the mix for B10's?
Absolutely huge for momentum going forward, long ways to go but quite a few young guys got some confidence boosters. In particular you've got a lot to look forward to in young guys like Bouzakis, Mendez, Gallagher, Rogotzke, Geog and Feldman...maybe McCrone if he can keep replicating that effort. If you get B10+ let us know how it is. My experience with it was awful, but maybe they improved it (hopefully they did, I want to watch my wrestling Bucks).

Also took a look at the updated '24 Big Board rankings on Flo Wrestling. For our 2024 commits, Davino (133) is #3 overall, e'Than Birden (165) is #17 and Carter Neeves (HWT) is #23. Not shabby at all. PSU's list includes the # 1, 5, 6, 10, 13 and 21, but I won't beat a dead horse there. Marcus Blaze was also bumped up to #1 P4P regardless of class, much earned after defeating Ramos.

Bucks will be wrestling at the U. S. Air Force Special Warfare Collegiate Wrestling Duals next month in Nashville at Montgomery Bell Academy (or Momma Boy Academy, if you prefer) against NC State, UNI, and Lock Haven University. Can't wait to see the boys in action.
I expect live updates in this thread :) Have a great time!

Smoked both Columbia (49-0) and Hofstra (51-0), two shutouts is impressive no matter who the opponent is, especially with the amount of bonus points scored (it was basically all pins or tech falls). Interestingly enough, Hepner got a match in at 165 and Hoffman was back at 184.

Onwards to the Cliff Keen Invitational December 1-2 where we will find out where a lot of our guys stand among the nation's best.

Agreed.
To be fair, we haven't wrestled anyone save for VT. It's going to be a test for sure. We only have two upperclassmen, three if Hoffman(GR) goes.
Oh for sure, those were the only tough matches we've had so far. Granted we did really well against many ranked wrestlers, a dual is a different animal than a deep tourney.

This year's CK is interesting because usually we do have several highly ranked upper classmen. This year we have a ton of young guys that have just earned some top 20 rankings that could move up even more with a good performance. McCrone, Bouzakis, Hepner, Geog and Feldman are all guys I'm really excited to see perform and hopefully put some hair on the chest and move up. Paddy as well.
