FLO wrestling now has Paddy Gallagher as the #6 P4P wrestler in the country. Kid has had a great senior season. I believe he's favored to take state this weekend. Also read where the Bucks may be a leader for superstar prep Jesse Mendez, a 140# who is rated the #2 P4P .
Saw on the local news last night that Gallagher's first match at State will be against some blind kid who also has autism. Feel sorry for the kid.

Paddy is a chainsaw, I don't see any way he isn't an immediate impact and stud here. Then again, I've thought that about some guys we've got right now either not qualifying or barely making the tourney, so don't ask me haha. But for real, I do think Paddy will be dominant.

Opening night for Paddy...first a TF, then a pin. Asked after the 2nd match how he felt he did (paraphrasing here)"It is what it is. I don't really care about state championships. I want to win the NCAA championship. I want to be THE best wrestler in the NCAA."

Well he should at least try to enjoy state championships in the meantime, but I like the mindset lol

In high school (Whetstone), we had the #4 wrestler (forget what weight class). They wrestled the School for the Blind (on Morse Road), and our guy got taken by his opponent. Watched in amazement, but saw it happen. Soooo, don't discount those with less-than-optimal senses. Go Bucks!

Certainly doesn't seem like the kid feels sorry for himself. Pretty awesome that he qualified for the state tourney in the first place. Great story of perseverance.

I was able to watch that kid from Berlin wrestle this year. It's something else but it's a hell of a good story and from all accounts he's a great kid with a good outlook.
