Ohio State Wrestling (2015/2017/2018 B1G Champs, 2015 National Champs, 2019 National Runners-up)

Hey @RB07OSU .. slacker... it's Thursday.. and we don't have your pre-tourney predictions... sheez...

Covering Buckeyes wrestling don't pay the bills like it used to. But on the real, its really tough to predict the B1G tournament. That being said, here are my predictions:

125: Malik loses his first match (will lose to #6 DeAugostino), then wins two matches but doesn't place. Could get an at-large bid.
133: Same for DeCatur (will lose to #3 DeSanto in the first match).
141: Luke wins it all and gets his revenge on Lee. Auto bid.
149: Sasso gets to finals and takes runner up in finals, feel like Lugo evens up the score. But I definitely think he gets to finals. Auto bid.
157: Cleary wins one match in consolations and does not place. Likely not an NCAA qualifier.
165: Smith takes 4th overall and pulls off at least one upset. Auto bid.
174: Romero takes 5th overall. Auto bid.
184: Rocky takes 5th overall. Auto bid.
197: Moore wins it with ease. Auto bid.
HWT: Traub takes 6th overall. Auto bid.

- That would give us 7 guaranteed qualifiers. I tend to think we get 8 with someone getting an at-large bid. Cleary stands very little chance at qualifying unless he places top 6, which I don't see happening. Malik qualified last year, which helps, but he has had a rough year and needs to get at least a few wins to sniff an at-large imo.

Malik and Decatur lost as expected, Luke and Sammy with byes. Huge upset at 157 with Cleary getting a win over #6 seed Tucker from MSU, two really nice looking takedowns...has a potentially winnable match against #3 seed Coleman of Purdue next. Smith gets a major decision at 165 with a 18-4 win, just a point away from the tech fall.
So I subscribed to BTN+ ... different channels for different mats. Is there a schedule somewhere that shows who, when and what mats are wrestling? Flipping back and forth on Hulu is not ideal ....
