especially after penn state, baylor, and michigan state, this is no longer my starting assumption. As to the Jim Jordan component, I would be very surprised if he is being dishonest in saying he did not directly know about this. Hearing rumors, maybe, but I doubt he would have known it was going on and did nothing to report it or stop it.
first, this "story" isn't about a former assistant. this investigation is about a university employee who, according to multiple ex-athletes from over 10 sports, sexually assaulted those under his care.I think it's reasonable to wonder about the motives that led to this story resurfacing about a former assistant who happened to become a big-time politician, but not also the HOF head coach who was right there for 20 years. He's mentioned but almost as a footnote to the Jordan narrative. It's really a strange story all around.
right... it's not as though plenty of osu fans haven't already claimed those speaking out are in it just for the money. or that those speaking out are liars because a couple have questionable pasts. or that this whole ordeal is a conspiracy. or that the investigation has questionable motives and allegiances.Frankly Buckguys's PSU comparison is pretty hyperbolic and equally out of place in this neutral wrestling thread.
