Ohio State Women's Basketball (2023-24 B1G CHAMPS)

Clark didn't break shit today. There are no joint record books, and even if there were, Clark played four seasons to Maravich's three. Plus, he played with no shot clock and no three point line. And don't even get me started on the ludicrous "she could play with the men" shit that's been thrown around.

Great player, but anyone who thinks that is possible needs a box of wine and a Hallmark movie.

Maravich took 700 more shots in those three years and his SEC competition in that era was almost all white guys with his dad as a coach. He was a great player but he was also the ultimate ball hog taking an average of 40 shots per game.

I do agree about no joint records.

Well, it looks like (from the above) we all watched the same game. It was a forgone conclusion, that CC would break the record. My wife, as sweet as they come, was ranting at CC all night, whereby I threatened to send her to her room. You can imagine how that turned out. Nevertheless, CC's histrionics are/were something that she'd better leave at the door when she gets to the WNBA. Those seasoned women will let her know in some harsh ways, that that doesn't play up there. Uptube is all over CC purposely bumping into Cotie, and bouncing and arching away, and getting the T called on Cotie. Such is the life of a 'protected' player. Believe those actions cost the Buckeyes, what, 12 points for Iowa? Yeah, tOSU was playing 5 on 8. Our five girls, against their five, plus the two refs, plus lady luck. How many plays ended up in Iowa hands right under the basket, with no scarlet jerseys around? OK, it was a great day in Iowa, so let it go, and prepare for the B10s. Don't know who the tournament refs will be, maybe those the coaches voted as the best? In a neutral site, maybe the mistakes the refs make will be equalized on both sides of the 10 second line equally. Always my rant with refs. Call 'em equally on both sides of the line. Anyway, methinks the loss made our girls a tad angry, and raring to go. Go Bucks!

Apparently the Iowa princess believes that when she’s on the floor with the ball nobody should try to get it from her.
I told my wife before the game that since Iowa was going to get calls on Princess Clark they may as well get their money's worth with a forearm to her throat. But then it would be "those thug Buckeyes"

OK the fatass ref underneath has called us for 4 straight fouls after Cotie fluke foul. I really get sick of this crap
The one charge they called had the Terp defender clearly inside the charge arc.

Might have lost an NCAA #1 seed here, depending on other tourney results.

Brad Sellers’ daughter has been huge for Maryland.
