Boo to the two weeks Fungo. Hopefully not, but don't want her to be in and then out again. Like it when they come out making shots. Surprised that Huskers didn't call time out earlier to break the spell, but hey, I'm not the coach. Mikesell is going to need some time off after this stretch, she looks tired out there, but her engine just keeps going. Plenty proud of the other Lady Bucks that have stepped up. This is (hopefully) going to make for a deeper bench during crunch time and in the NCAAs. Mikaslavoka (phonetically spelled), continues to impress. She put some nice moves on her counterpart, and is making more than she's missing. Thierry continues to be my favorite, just wish she'd take the mid-range jumper, but am grateful for her being a 'garbageperson' around the basket, corralling rebounds as well as putbacks. Riki is handling her duties quite well, and protects her dribble, (maybe she read a post above) by using her left a tad more. Seemed to take defenders by surprise. Shumate, Bingham (?) are providing good minutes for the starters, and holding the lead. Continue to Go Bucks, Ladies!

For sure! OSU will definitely need her down the stretch with IU, Iowa, UM, and 2 vs Md coming up. Ideally, it would be great if she was back for the Iowa game on the 23rd, but even Indiana on the 26th would be big.

Doubt that anyone truly believes that the Buckeyes will go on to a perfect season, but am willing to ride this wave to the beach. Agree with you (once again) Fungo, will definitely need Jacy to face some of the Indianas, Xichigan, Xichigan St, Iowa (man, my wife doesn't like that shooter's attitude), and the two against MD. If you look at the NCAA women's rankings, seems to be pretty heavy toward the B10. Great to see, but also am aware that the back end of the schedule will lead to losses by each of those teams. Hopefully, the Buckeyes can weather the storm, and get a great NCAA seed. Go Bucks!

Ohio State women’s basketball ranked No. 2 in latest AP Poll

Monday, the Ohio State women’s basketball team reached another milestone. After already eclipsing their best start in history, they’ve now met their all-time high in the AP Poll, earning the No. 2 ranking in the country.

That new ranking comes a day after previous No. 2 Stanford University lost to unranked University of Southern California. The Trojans beat Stanford 55-46, for their first win over a team ranked No. 2 or higher since 2008.
