Too soon old, too late smart
tOSU women just seemed to be in second gear, and then almost seemed to jump into overdrive. Saw some great passing assists last night, which makes for great teams. I do see the other players picking up the slack, and Mikesell is giving herself up a bit by being more of a ball handler, rather than running downcourt and setting up for her patented 3-ball. Thierry has become my fave, with her coltish like enthusiasm, and being in the right place under the basket. Cotie has been a very pleasant surprise, popping the mid-range jumper or driving to the hole on a regular basis. Oh yeah, Rikki certainly has stepped up as a PG, and handles pressure better than I thought she would. Wish she had a better left hand (like Jacy and Maddie) that would negate the defender pushing her left. We saw some extended minutes from the Buckeye bench, and have to say, it was impressive. And yeah, feel Maddie's pain, although am unclear whether it's a re-injury or other knee. Guess doesn't matter, as she's out for year. She's still on bench, cheering her heart out. Love seeing how many teams are appearing in the WBB top 25. Keep going Bucks!
