I live ten blocks or so south of campus, in Victorian Village. It is not raining here. ABC/ESPN keeps showing pouring rain in their cuts to the scene. Either the storm is highly localized or they are recycling footage.

I loved living in that area of town. Thurber had lived in a neighbors attic and they had covered over his doodles on a wall when the partitioned the place. Found the art in the 1970s during a restoration and the OSU folks came over and took down the plaster boards for his collection. I miss the trees and the wonderful architecture.
