I live ten blocks or so south of campus, in Victorian Village. It is not raining here. ABC/ESPN keeps showing pouring rain in their cuts to the scene. Either the storm is highly localized or they are recycling footage.

earliest return is 6:30 right now (they keep announcing every 10-15 min in the Shoe), but this time it stayed at 6:30 like the last announcement.

They'll wait hours I think. I remember some stupid late games in the past with southern B12 teams, and those were 7-8 PM kicks.

Still booming and lightening in Dayton despite little rain now

I have a whole house lightening strike protection device from the electric company. Twice now though when power has went out suddenly, DVR wouldn't work when power comes back on. Actually, the box powers on and everything but isn't sending a signal to the TV. Had to grab my box out of the bedroom.
Sorry bru! We have one of the highest levels of lightning strikes in the world in the Highveld around Johannesburg. About 25-32 strikes per square mile annually. We just give up and put separate surge protectors on every electronic appliance. Nothing else seems to work.
