Game Thread Ohio State vs Penn State, 10/28/17 @ 3:30 ET (FOX)

Before I dive into 200 pages, how is everyone else here?

Guessing this thread will be a treat. I miss anything?

Funny thing now is clueless Pedsters arguing with him, claiming they're in the same position tOSU was last year so they'll be in the CFP.

Except they had two losses last year and the Bucks did not. Now, if they stay high in the polls, win out and the Bucks drop a game, they might have a point.

Right now? This is not like last year. Bucks have the head to head and only one loss against a top 10 team.

But otherwise, it's exactly like last year.

My concerns:

PSU offense:
-Barkley catching the ball in the middle of the field (ala Flowers for OU)
-Brady Quinn-esque jump balls. PSU WRs always seem to have a knack for catching those
-McSorley scrambling....if you get a chance, take his ass down
-If Barkley does get the edge and it is 1v1 with a safety.....angles and tackling have to be good

OSU offense:
-no turnovers
-don't let one guy beat you like they did with Sickells last year. If an OL can't handle his man 1v1 (ala Prince last year), give him some damn help. Don't hang him out to dry again and again
-keep doing what is working

ST:
-Kick coverage and kick protection

1. Great success!
2. Got a couple of those -- the one by Tompkins and another by Gesicki - but nearly as bad as last year
3. DL lost containment too often, but that's about my only complaint
4. One long run, but other than that, the run support from the back 7 was outstanding

5. Fail
6. OL was mostly excellent
7. Much better gameplay and execution. Still some frustrating calls, but overall the TD hard to complain about the end result on O.

8. What's worse than fail?
