Game Thread Ohio State vs Oklahoma, 09/09/17 @ 7:30 ET (ABC)

Oh yeah? Tell that to the '77 Sooners, bro...

Little history lesson for you, son: Oklahoma blew a 20-0 lead in 1977 and won on a last second FG. In the 1983 rematch at Norman, Ohio State dominated a fairly low-scoring game 24-14 in which they never trailed. Then the curb-stomping in your house last year. So, you're a last-second FG from being 0-3 against us, so even the '77 Sooners would likely tell you to not talk too much shit...

And the only reason you were able to come back in that game was because Billy Sims and Thomas Lott went out with injuries.

Nope. But neither will Matt Barkley or Michael Brewer. The next one to break your hearts at home at night will be Baker!

I'm too stoned to even try and type out all the funny in these two posts. Are you saying that if Baker gets knocked out of the game tOSU might keep it close?

I have to admit that I'm a little giddy to see what our boys up front do against the "best offensive line in the country". I don't think OU fears the Buckeyes enough to run that quick (though admittedly effective) stuff that Indiana threw at us, so our guys get a real chance to show their stuff. Prediction? Pain.

I'm not going to talk any trash this game to be honest... I have no feel for this game after last Thursday night. I'm confident our dline will dominate their offensive line but no confidence in our backs to take away Mark Andrews before he goes for 2 scores and 150 yards.

My heart says 42 to 17 bucks but brain says 42 to 38 bucks.... either way we win but I really hope our secondary can keep it around 250 this time

I'm going to call it now... OU only has Mark Andrews as a weapon. If he has over 50 yards of offense we have failed on defense.

I'm getting a little frustrated that we do not take away an offenses #1 option

50 yards is a failure? Really? Get control of yourself lol.

When we know it's all they have and it's a tight end to boot yes 50 yards is more then generous.

I want to see this secondary force Baker to go to one of those WRs that are unproven. If we allow the one proven commodity they have to go off then I will have no words honestly.

Id throw Webb and Sheffield on Andrews. Then Ward on their 2nd option and Arnette on their 3rd option. I know Ward can eliminate their second option too.

Only thing this defense needs to do is force a QB to hang on to the ball for 4 seconds.
