Game Thread Ohio State vs Oklahoma, 09/09/17 @ 7:30 ET (ABC)

When we know it's all they have and it's a tight end to boot yes 50 yards is more then generous.

I want to see this secondary force Baker to go to one of those WRs that are unproven. If we allow the one proven commodity they have to go off then I will have no words honestly.

Id throw Webb and Sheffield on Andrews. Then Wars on their 2nd option and Arnette on their 3rd option.

Only thing this defense needs to do is force a QB to hang on to the ball for 4 seconds.

I agree that Andrews is the primary concern, but expecting them to hold him to 50 yards or less is a bit of a reach IMO.

Only reason I say 50 yards is because he's a tight end and because we should be keying on him all game. This will be great practice for PSU with mcfuckly and their big tight end.

Granted they don't have a running game but similar QB and very similar TE.

You aren't giving the Buckeyes, Hoosiers, or that Cobbs kid any credit. Urban would have to do a complete 180 in his presser for me to think this team isn't something special in his eyes. Nothing close to clown show has been mentioned IIRC.

I honestly acknowledge Cobbs is a stud but I'm pretty sure we thought we could handle that guy 1 on 1 and we couldn't. We eventually put a safety over top to help on him but it was 1 quarter too late.

We have a tendency to give up too much too early before making great adjustments at the half. Sooner () or late that can eventually hurt us if we get behind too far too early.

Check out this little tidbit, former VA Tech quarterback Michael Brewer (who was part of OSU's only loss in 2014) was backed up by Baker Mayfield at Lake Travis HS in Austin. Uh-oh! I since another home loss at night coming for you Buckeyes! :panic:

Well, OU's defense held UTEP's starting QB to only 56 yards passing. How's that for starters?
