It's also very hard to run the ball when there is no true play action off of the run being called and no one respects Ohio State's passing game to begin with.

If Ohio state shows a certain look on a play they always do the exact same thing. The option is always the pitch. If Samuel goes in motion it's a swing pass. There is no progression to the plays. The same look has to have variable outcomes and it doesn't so the defense just plays option fucking one. It's maddening.
