nah, this is iowa being iowa really. i can't remember a year ol coach kirk has had anything resembling success in a year he was supposed to. rule of thumb with them is if they start the season ranked its a guaranteed 4+ loss season.

Funny story, I was listening to Finebaum on my way home(I'm stationed in the panhandle of Florida so that's the only sports radio show I have after work) and this kid calls in beginning of the year before the 1st week and has Kentucky as his sleeper pick to win the SEC east. Kid was 13 years old I believe, I remember this day because I too said the SEC East is so shitty that it probably could happen.
