Ohio State vs Miami Predictions

Buckeyes by atleast 10. Not only do they have to shock the rest of the world, but some of their own fans as well. National tv, night game, "big time" opponent. They'll be ready.

Nothing about Miami scares me.

Jacory Harris and Stephen Morris are both INTs....i'm calling at least 3 INTs in this game....whoever may be at QB for Cryami

Buckeye's dline overpowers the Cryami oline shutting down their run game and getting pressure on the QB

Bauserman plays a limited mistake game and the running backs keep the chains moving

Ohio State 24 Cryami 10

this......

they have 2 QBs who love to chuck INTs

their oline is not good (as seen by Marylands undersized dline being able to get a good amount of penetration on them)

they like to miss tackles......TEs eat their pass D alive (Stoneburner watch)

Bauserman may not be the best QB....but he has done a good job at avoiding turnovers

From a pure talent perspective, tOSU should win this game. However, as my old man says, age and experience will generally win out over youth and enthusiasm, and with the guys that are out, we are young and inexperienced. I really hope that Hall, Howard and Brown are back, it will be a tough win to get if they aren't. I think the only safe prediction is that there are probably going to be several uneasy moments in this game.

It sure would have been nice to roll into Miami with some confidence that the Bucks are a solid team that does several things well. But alas, not the case.

Not sure that Hall and Howard will be available. Joe has trouble with the pass rush, getting the ball out over the D linemen, and throwing the long ball. We aren't running the ball all that well. The OL isn't brilliant at run or pass blocking. The D has issues with quick RB's and WR's out on the edge (note: Miami has several of those).

On the positive, Miami has it's issues and OSU is the type of team who can improve significantly from week to week. I expect a lot of scarlet and gray in the crowd in Miami.

To me, and it may be more heart than head, adds up to a 21-20 win for the good guys.

Buckeyes win the turnover battle and with it the game.

LeBron James is there and his mug is on the tube at some point during the game.

Plenty of thugs who have never so much as stepped foot on the Miami campus show up for the night game.

Looks like the weather won't be much of a factor, a high of 87 on weather.com and don't forget this is a night game. This miami team just doesn't scare me, maybe if they still had Hankerson. I say Bucks win by 10.

Have you ever visited South Florida during this time of year? It will be hot and humid come game time. Trust me, I live down here. The sun is the only thing eliminated with it being a night game, the heat and humidity love to hang around all night long.

I think the Buckeyes are playing with anger, and a chip on their shoulder, but not with confidence.

I feel like the coaching staff especially is not confident. I get the sense they are puckered.

We win, but it will be somewhere along the lines of a Holy Buckeye, Bauserman hitting a miracle pass at the end of the game. Great defense but no offense. We'll run 32 times for 107 yards. Hankins, Bennett cause fumbles, maybe Travis Howard picks one off.

So we win the turnover battle by 2 or 3 and win by 4 or 5.

Ugh. can't wait for everyone to be back, and for Bauserman to get schmoov or they let Miller and Graham take their shots. I love Joe B but as someone said (on the radio, I confess), if Joe B was going to be a Div I college quarterback, he would have done it at 20 or 22.

Buckeyes 16-13.
