It's interesting to me because it seems that Day has made a point for Justin to keep his head up and look downfield as he's buying time behind the line. It's a double-edged sword, because that thought in your head can mess with the normal internal clock about how much time you have before tucking it or throwing it away. But if you can find a guy deep downfield in scramble drill mode, that can be a huge gain.My one criticism of Fields this game is wanting to hold back on running too much. When it’s there and you’re not finding anyone, commit to it before it becomes too obvious that’s your only option.
His ability to scramble is a great asset, he just needs to be able to avoid being blasted and avoid turnovers from waiting too long and having protection break down, which it eventually will. Experience and eyes in the back of his head will help!
