Game Thread Ohio State vs Miami OH - 09/21/19, 3:30PM (BTN)

I dont know about anyone else but I truly enjoyed watching Zaid Hamdan battle in there

Love it!

He was bringing some juice to the middle of that D and you can bet he wanted to keep mixing it up when the stoppage was announced.

LJ’s room is really stepping up big time right now with a couple guys out. It feels like they’re bringing everyone along with them starting with their unit.

It will pay off big time next year when we lose the starting 4.

@BB73 - when was the last time an OSU opponent ended a game with 5 points?

Dammit! Unlike you, I drink during games and you're making me work!

Ohio State beat Kenyon 11-5 in 1904. Still checking if that's the most recent.

Edit, in 1910 Otterbein was defeated 14-5! And Denison was a 5-5 tie, so it looks like Denison in 1910 is the answer.

From 1898 through 1911, TDs were worth 5 points.

You asked when an OSU opponent ended a game with 5 points, and I believe the above info is accurate.

But the last time a team ended up with 5 points in a Buckeye football game was in the 1922 opener, when Ohio Wesleyan was defeated 5-0 in the first game ever played in the Horseshoe.
