just saying alot of the time we say what we should do or would do but if we were in that postion. What would we do ? No hes not above questioning but its hard to do this when, he's done nothing but win. :osu:

Posts like this make me wonder why anyone would visit message boards. No one on here is saying they could or would do a better job than any other coaching staff for any team. We get on here and discuss what we, as football fans, think of certain things. Pulling Zwick to get Troy a series early in the game we not a "Good move" in my opinion. Does that mean I want to do Tressells job? (Well hell yeah, I would love to coach my Buckeyes, but that is in fantasy) No, I would take Tressell over any other coach in the country right now. Does that mean I should not say anything and pretend that I don't have an opinion? No. Message board conversations are great because most of us are at best, lower level coaches and we enjoy discussing football X's and O's.

Not trying to jump on you or anything, but these threads will pop up over and over again with different people telling everyone how stupid we are for ever second guessing our head coach. The fact is, Tressell is one of the best coaches in the country and is (hopefully) going to be here (at tOSU) for and long, long time and we are not just going to stop talking football because we are winning.

Just for some perspective, head over to the scUM boards and see all those professional coaches calling for LLLoyd Carrs job after losing to a desperate Domer squad on their home field. We may post threads like "Did Tressell Disrupt the flow of the game . . " but if the Buckeyes would have lost this game, we would not have threads like "Fire Tressell before it's too late". Most of us know that Tressell puts us in position to win every game, its up to the players to bring home the win.

the only posts that make me laugh are the ones that go like this:

"i was at a practice this spring and ...soandso...was lighting it up....soandso should be starting..."

you are such an amazing talent evaluater that from one practice you know who should be starting at every position better than the best damn coaches in the land....those posts make me laugh....oh hell, im not fooling anyone...they sometimes piss me off.....

Coaching is a philosophy and is thereby open to interpretation...JT is a great coach and I wouldn't want anyone else. However, even JT will tell you, there are many, many approaches to football. As a coach you never stop your personal evolution through learning....

Over at fucknuts they pregame and watch tape together. It's amazing how those know it all's aren't on the staff. But I can't mouth too much, I still pay for that site. I know this sounds lame but how do you stop paying? You can't cancel online and the phone number they give is not real lol. Maybe it's a master plan to FOREVER have your money.

Great coach

All the coaches on our squad know what they're doing. The winning speaks for itself now maybe some things can change to make us better and mostly likely they will, but for the mean time we're all just having some fun and talk'n bout what the fans think. Its just all for fun where as we know they probably won't do the things we want! When its all said and done Tressel will be talked about just as much if not more than Woody Hayes. The guy just knost football.
