I know how you feel about our donators not being football boosters, but this seems like something that someone with Wexner's money could accomplish.

73 pass attempts at The Ohio State University is NOT a winning combination.

Wherever the running game has gone...go find it.

UFM's offense doesn't work without a running QB, absent the exception of 200 yard games by Zeke and a great defense. As good as Haskins is, he's not the best fit for this team. He's a pocket passer, UFM needs a read/option guy - one of many reasons why he loved Barrett.

Then there's the defense, who gives up way too many big plays for a team with championship aspirations. That was obvious in week one - Oregon State had 49, 78, and 81 yard TD plays - they scored 7 points at home against California today.

Ohio State was fool's gold. Number 2 in the country? Not even close.

I don't buy for a second that our OL room isn't talented or good enough. Warriner came in, took basically scraps, and turned them into the best OL in a generation. Could generally run the ball on anyone. Only OL to have a single back rush for over 200 yards again mighty Alabama.

Get a good coach in there and I'd bet money the OL all of a sudden starts looking like a force again.

The OL doesn't play with any fire. How often do you see them get behind a RB after he is stopped to push for an extra yard or two? It has happened very infrequently this season.

How does everyone forget is took 31 points to Iowa AND two losses and it still was a close call???????????????????

I don’t see it in this team either..haven’t all year. But you all overestimate the effect of this loss on our playoff chances.

If Purdue wins out and meets us in the B1G CG and we beat them the way we should then yes it’s a close call. If they go back to normal Purdue and lose 3 more games or more (they lost to EMU) then it’s a no from me

But seriously, this is the kind of game that should spur some change. I’m looking directly at Studrawa, Davis and quite possibly Taver Johnson. Those three position groups are torpedoing a this season, and some of it goes back to last year.

We’ll find out soon if Urban is still serious about kicking ass, because this current coaching staff is not close to good enough. I don’t expect moves mid-season, the monkey’s already in the banana patch, but a couple of guys should be out on their ass by the second week of January unless they pull some goddamned miracles out of their ass.

Terrible OL & Back 7 coaching. Worst loss in recent memory. We'll get over it, though.

Off topic, but my awe of Nick Saban went up by quite a few notches after tonight. I already think he's the best ever to coach the college game, but the consistency over the years with different coaches and assistants is just unreal.
