Given the individual rankings I am surprised we are ranked 6. Having 4 guys in the top 40ish is it just a matter of the formula behind the rankings? I do see they lost to UNC 4-2 but they are now the #1 team.

Agree osu/d. The new weekly ranking seems to suggest osu is undervalued,
The buckeye stock is rising, however but pollsters don't tend to swing with the strong and weak performers quickly,
If successful this weekend, rankings might advance another spot or even 2.

Bucks got off to a good start, taking the doubles point. Di Feo/Diaz and Steinbach/Joyce both won 6-2. Torpegaard/Pollanen were up 5-2 in their match.
Steinbach at #6 puts up point 2, Joyce at #5 puts up point 3, and Diaz at #3 puts up point 4 to seal it.
Solid win over #7 aTm.

Bucks will host #23 ranked Florida today at noon at the Varsity Indoor Tennis Center.
Gators are strong with the no. 1 ranked doubles combo.
Ty will need to motivate and challenge to claim that significant first point.
Was able to take in the women's team win over Tennessee yesterday and they are quality, fun to watch!
Of interest this is the first time in my knowledge that the women's team #5 has been ranked higher by the ITA than the men's team #6.

Actually, Buckeye ladies defeated TSUN earlier in a non conference match.
If they meet in the B1G tourney, I like OSU to prevail again.
They are getting better, stronger, never have had anyone like Freancesca, the ITA #1 ranked singles player.

Shame on me for not knowing our ladies beat them already. However, why was that an OOC match-up? Looking at the women's schedule I find it to be odd that we don't play them in-conference. Looking at the schedule on the official OSU site it looks like we play every other Big-10 team but M*chigan. Unlike football in which the schedule is very compact, in tennis I think there is plenty of opportunity to play the entire conference.
