Buckeye John McNally has a little sister who is pretty good athlete,
In the US open 2nd round 17 year old Caity shocked the world, as she took first set off Serena.
Paired with coco Gauf they won the US open junior title in 2018,
Forward to this year playing in women’s dubs earned a minimum pay of $30k with an upset of #9 seed in 3rd round,

Was cool to see John and Ohio State Tennis getting some air time in that Serena match.

Nice run by his sister.

Love the Columbus venue for the pro tour challenger, September 16-21. This level of tour stop allows team to get some wild card entries, sure a quick exit for some who may be overmatched but gives opportunity for Bucks to grind with high level competition.
Two other general observations.
1. Buckeyes will host perennial powerhouses USC, Texas A & M, Arizona State and last year champions Texas in early February. Then take a spring road trip for preparation in outdoor venues to Georgia and Stanford in March.
2. Bucks will have home matches this Spring vs. B1G heavyweights tsun and Illinois.

McNally , Seelig, Siebert and Trotter will be counted on for replacing last years core, Wolf, Joyce, and Kobelt. Will take some rebuilding however...
Bold prediction, this incoming freshman class will be considered one day the greatest class in OSU history.

He should be in school right now. Ohio State's semester has been in session for two weeks 8D and 18-year-old Cannon Kingsley of Northport is an enrolled freshman there. But he won again at the U.S. Open on Tuesday, so he’ll catch up with schoolwork after he is done with his last junior tennis tournament.

On Friday, Kingsley will play unseeded Swiss Dominic Stephan Stricker, who knocked off No. 2 seed Holger Vitus Nodskov Rune of Denmark, in the second round.

This year is going to be fun! Cant wait to see what the youth brigade contributes to the cause but right now they are playing like champions.
Cash gave a battle to Northwester grad Kirch but fell in straights.
Trotter won his match in straight sets. Wow he looks solid.
17 year old early entry fresh J Boulais is a name you will be hearing. His sister is #1 for osu women's team. And the talent pool is obviously shared.
Boulais recd a wildcard entry. But clawed his way to 2 tie breakers and prevailed in both.
US open semifinalist and Buckeye Freshman Cannon Kingsley is on campus and is in the mix already. Won his first set vs pro Evan Song.
McNally is also looking lethal as he attempts an upset vs Geerts.
