What a week it was for Cannon Kingsley as he won the consolation bracket champion at the ITA All-American Championships on Sunday afternoon. Kingsley defeated Notre Dame’s Richard Ciamarra 6-2, 3-6, 7-6(6) in Sunday’s final.
The match was a good back and forth battle. Kinglsey rolled through the first set and then Ciamarra held the upper hand in the second. In the third, the pair remained on serve before Kingsley got the first break to go up 4-3. The two then traded breaks until it was 5-5. Both would finally hold, including Kinglsey fighting off three match points, to force a tiebreaker. In the breaker, Kingsley jumped out 4-2 but then Ciamarra evened the score at 6-6 before Kingsley won two-straight to take the match. Kinglsey’s week started on Wednesday with a loss to Southern Cal’s Riley Smith in the opening round of the main draw. He then dropped into the consolation bracket and would knock-off five consecutive ranked opponents, including No. 79 Zeke Clark of Illinois and No. 38 Jonas Ziverts of Arizona, to take the title.
Bucks Sweep the Midwestern regional with a tough 3 set dubs win over TSUN for McNally and Cash.

McNally , Seelig, Siebert and Trotter will be counted on for replacing last years core, Wolf, Joyce, and Kobelt. Will take some rebuilding however...
Bold prediction, this incoming freshman class will be considered one day the greatest class in OSU history.
Looks like Alex Kobelt, 2019 Buck grad landed at unlv and garnered some points from his solid indoor play.
Who are the top 6 at this point in time?
#1 McNally - Jr
#2 Seelig - RsSr
#3 Siebert - Jr
#4 Trotter - So
#5 Kingsly - Fr
#6 Boulias - Fr or Cash - Fr
and that's going to be a really young team.
Would have been nice to have Alex Kobelt back; however giving the freshmen more playing time in 2019/2020 should really pay dividends in 2020/2021 and beyond.
