Ohio State Men's Tennis (2014/2019/2024 ITA Indoor National Champs, 17 Straight B1G Titles)

Giorgio remembered

It was interesting to note that Kobelt lost to the 20th ranked player while Chase lost to the 50th ranked player. Maybe someone, the Georgia coach, was doing a little bit of sandbagging:( Props to my grandson for pointing this out:)

Double Props to your grandson for that observation,
some Georgia fans were also questioning the decision.
Guess the point becomes moot when the player accused of being stacked
actually pulls off a victory, ala Kobelt at Virginia vs. #1 Mitchell Frank.
Singh of UGa, a Jan. 2012 transfer from Illinois, was 8-5 in 2011 playing #2 and #3 singles for the Illini. Since transferring in January, he has been playing solid tennis. Yesterday was obviously a huge win for him.
