Even though the livestats scoreboard only indicates OSU 3, UNC 0, McCarthy and Buchanan both record wins marking the 3rd and 4th points.
\ This victory belongs to the Buckeyes!

:osu:

Van Engle up a set plus a break in the second.

Kobelt won the first set, on serve in the second.

Smith on serve in the third.

Match is over for the team records...but a sweep is still possible.

Even though the match is won, like to see that they will not dnf courts 3,4, and 6.

Go Bucks!

I expected them to dnf. Who makes the decision to keep playing..the coaches?

EDIT: Smith up a break now :)

EDIT again: make that TWO breaks...should be 6-0 shortly with Kobelt's match still underway. He won the first, but is down a break in the second.

Yes you are right Hiney, coaches decide that before the match;

Van Engelen with the solid win for the 5th point on the board.

Smith won the 3rd set, 6-1 for point #6.
Kobelt won his first but down a break in the 2nd. If Peter loses the 2nd set they may play a super tiebreaker (first player to win 10 points by 2) wins the third set and the match.

Crowd was absolutely rocking yesterday, almost 500 in attendance vs. Kentucky.
Not so packed today.
This tennis team is as Hiney says "STRONG" and special, lots of fun to watch live, and creating buzz in the tennis world -- a cold weather state with a power laden roster.
Thank you Coach Tucker!
