Yep, felt that coming. Denver gets one just before the end of the 2nd period.

Reminds me of the 1990-91 Ohio State basketball team that peaked too early, made the tourney as a #1 seed despite losing its last two regular season games, staggered through two wins over bad teams in the first two rounds, and then got blown out by St. John's.
EDIT: Or just about any John Cooper team.

Yeah, count me in as disappointed with the season. Funny, having been a fan of this program for so long, to consider a regular season championship and ncaa berth as disappointing, but that's what it is. This team was probably Ohio State's best chance ever to win an NC, yet they were so inconsistent.
Next year will be interesting. We're set in goal with Napier, but are losing a ton elsewhere including the three best players on the team (Jobst, Lacynski and Joshua). We're about to find out if Rohlik has really put together the kind of program that can consistently make the tournament and compete for an NC or just happened have one good team.
