My response to the people who are saying "lol it's the first half. calm down. we'll win this game."

Nobody expects to win every game 50-0 (ok, some people do 8D) but for the most part people are saying the same thing they said last year (when you all were saying the same thing. "Calm down we are winning.") People are and were saying that this team has some fundamental flaws that will catch up to them when we play good teams.

Being down 1 at the half with a very bland offensive scheme so far is not at all a raw deal. The difference between these two teams should show itself over the next 30.

Well my first half analysis..

1. Dobbins is our best player on offense and once Weber gets back he will be our 2nd best.

2. JT looks better but he really doesn't have the arm to play the vertical game. That doesn't mean he can't be effective though.

3. I would not play Ben Victor he's just not strong enough to beat a team. KJ hill and Mack have been non existent as well. Only WR doing anything is 21 and Dixon, but Dixon needs to catch the ball

4. DBs are facing their kryptonite and that's all this is. They're facing a big, fast and experiences WR core with a live QB.

I apologize to Tim Beck for everything I have said

I also apologize to the guy who had the hard on for the smails kid/WR coach

The lack of performance from the WR group and the combined performance of the WR/QB combo is unacceptable

They had all off season and it feels like ground hog day

absolutely nothing has changed

It is a long season. It's also been a long, long off-season when they were supposedly developing their skills and correcting weaknesses.

Plus, I've seen this before, too many times, frankly. Very deja vu. One of these days, I'd like to see a team that comes out of the gate kicking ass, running up the score mercilessly, and generally dominating the living hell out of everyone they play. I've heard rumors there are teams that manage to do that.
