Game Thread Ohio State @ Indiana, 08/31/17 @ 8:00 ET (ESPN)

Thursday night opener against a B1G is stupid as shit. Is this for extra cash? Really, what's the justification here?

I've had some serious questions about our scheduling over the last couple years. That road series last year was just dumb. This is dumb. Everything is dumb.

Not even remotely worried about this game, or even the season. I just don't know why we play this game.

Give me someone like Akron, or someone awesome like FSU, Bama, Clemson, etc. But not an IU team who always manages to play us tough -- and in Indiana -- and with their former coach on our sideline.

i'm afraid to say it, but our season is capped with barrett behind center. he can't read defenses, he doesn't anticipate, and he doesn't have touch. i was hoping the off-season development and new qb/o coaches would produce a quarterback unlike last season. that has not happened.
I'm putting this on the OC. Give him one read on pass plays then tuck and run. He doesn't seem to be able to go through progressions. Give him 1 or 2 reads then tuck and run.

Also. He's thinking way too much

I know Burrow is out and all, but at what point do you pull the plug on JT? I've seen zero improvement from him in that first half. I've defended him since the starting QB battle in 2015, but when do you say enough is enough?

I'm in the same place. I've been a Barrett apologist since he took over in 2014, but he's missing the easy throws. I've begun to re-evaluate his entire game.
