Couple of things that I would have liked to have seen last night was less of the called runs for JT, especially when we have great talent in the backfield. I hate seeing JT take hits that could be avoided. The other thing last night that was a little odd, was either the lateness of getting the play call in or the formation and motion that cost us some timeouts and delay of games. Maybe this was just part of the youth of the team.
Oh.. the moron officials gave them a 1.2% chance. I know that's hard to calculate. Luckily Mr Brown doesn't mind being interfered with. I think they called what, 1 holding call? (And it was on us, and a no brainer.. but that was the standard, you had to get beat then tackle the guy from behind.). Obviously as a fan you notice more stuff they miss that would be in your favor but, man they were terrible. I had an Illinois flashback on the kick return.
Interestingly, I did read their scout game thread. They were all bitching about the holding not being called too... That said, it was really bad and the officials did absoutely zero to bring it in line.
I still need to know what people were smoking when they put Michigan that high. That's Urban Meyer/Nick Saban level respect that Harbaugh has done absolutely nothing to earn.
Reminds of the failing upward of a certain OC now at Bama. Could never understand the HC gigs he obtained based on nothing...
Maybe the first gig but after that the results didn't justify the jobs he received although Monte was heck of a hole card...
