I'd say the real frustration is that we saw what it could be like last year. This team lost 3 1st Rnd. Freshman. Ohio State.... hell, no school.... has ever had to deal with that.

What strikes me, and has for a while now, is how hard Ohio State has to work for looks compared to whoever we're playing. And, while it's easy to focus on the negative, when we do get an open look, it seems like we always draw iron. I know that's true, but it seems that way.

Yes his last shot was defended, I'm not saying everyone isn't. Yes, I probably am being a little hard on them. I'm just very frustrated with this team because they are so much more talented than what they have shown this year and I can't figure out the problem. I'd be fine if we were losing these games because the other team is better, but I'm really starting to think we're not giving very good effort and that really bothers me.osugrad21;1105467; said:

Young team gave it a strong run this year in a clear rebuilding year. Just didn't have quite enough to close out the year strong.
Hopefully, we have a strong B10 tournament then build on this season next year.
Congrats to the seniors. In particular, congrats to Butler. I know that he's taken some shots on here, but c'mon. He's carried this team the entire season. If at the end of a long grueling B10 season he's playing fatigued, so what. We never would have come as close as we did with out his guts and his heart.
