This is kind of funny when you think about it....

it really is. there are only so many refs and when you figure there is almost certainly at least one hold on every play... you almost have to sell that your being held for the officials to actually do anything about it. enforcing holds in football is about as scientific as enforcing speed limits it seems. if it isn't blatant or they aren't looking directly at it when it happens, its probably not going to get enforced. i don't agree with it, but pretty typical sadly.
