COLUMBUS Ohio State sophomore guard David Lighty spent part of his day Monday looking for three more tickets for tonight?s game against Cleveland State.

They are in big demand from the Cleveland native?s family and friends. Lighty was able to get 20 tickets for the Buckeyes? first game at Quicken Loans Arena since 1994. His mother had already secured 200.

?It?s a little wild,? Lighty said.

It should be a little rabid inside The Q for a rare Ohio State road game played in state. There has not been one since the Buckeyes and Vikings met in Cleveland 13 years ago.

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

This is the kind of dark alley into which Jim O'Brien never would have ventured when he coached the Ohio State men's basketball team. A game against another Ohio school on its turf? O'Brien saw nothing to gain and much to lose -- maybe as much as a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Thad Matta?
"I don't worry about March until March," he said.

I hate CSU w/a passion, personal reasons of course, but those aside, any school built into skyscrapers kinda like an Ewok Village with rope bridges interconnecting them needs to lose. :)

Anyhow, I'm excited about this game, I enjoy watching these players do well, and at the very least, they should gain some confidence through these last 2 games that will hopefully be carried with them come the Gheytor game and into Big Ten play.

I like Diebler coming off the bench right now for the time being...
Turner is doing a good job, just needs to love the ball more and not let it leave his possession!!!!

They beat USF and Florida...two teams that are very solid. It will take a well-executed game for us to pull off the W.
It wasn't Florida that they beat but Florida State in OT in Daytona Beach. They have lost to Cal State Northridge at home by 10. They also struggled with Chicago State.

They are athletic but don't have much size except for one 6'11" guy who isn't very athletic.

I would really like to see a solid 10-15 pt win tonight, and a good shooting night from everyone...
I want them to look as meshed as a team as they looked the other night. If they do that and win I will be happy.
:oh:
I am ready for this game!
