Ohio State 75, Florida 84 (final - NC Game)

Out of 65 teams in the NCAA tourney we were one of the last 2 standing. Sure, we all would have loved to win this thing.......but let's be realistic here.......Florida had the better team tonight. Let's not lost focus that we hadn't seen a final since the 60's. If we had a little more size and experience, I think things could have turned in our favor. Next year is a new beginning, and the sky is the limit for Matta and co.

It went something like...
"Yah yo ya know yo man....we back on top ya know yo man yeahh....we gonna do it up real big ya know all day and all night maaannn ya know....you probly don't know what that means ya know but my gator boys know what i'm talkin bout"

Say What? I think he's a little excited. "Do it up big", we'll be back next year to kick butt and maybe Noah will have learned the English language by then.

It's losing to Florida with a terrible game plan when you should've beaten them by 8-10... how do you forget to go to Oden for the last 12 minutes of the game?? He dominated florida's average big men all game and they were in foul trouble.. here's a clue Thad, when you're 2-12 at half time from outside, you don't have it out there tonight... his game plan was crap, and just like all season, OSU's talent, not coaching won or kept us in ballgames... Thad Matta... overated... been saying it all year.

Get lost.:roll1:

osu had no business in this game. i couldn't of asked anything more from this team. but if they might indulge me, i want oden and conley to digest this defeat at the hands of the three point gods and consider coming back a la brewer horford and her majesty noah did this season after a win. there is no excuse for gettin outshot from distance like tonight; that has to be addressed next season. i have a hard time believing foster and sullinger would have completely disappeared from behind the arc. moreover i have a even harder time visualizing diebler and kosta melting down from distance next year. if three point shooting is the achilles heel in 2007; i can guarantee it won't be in 2008. Y'all two made it this far this year with questionable deep threats-- just imagine next year with a couple of teammates that excel from distance. that said and you come to your senses and take that lottery pick m1; best of luck-- just look out and bust noah's ass at the next level like yo'all did tonight.

Are you really an OSU fan?? 55% from the 3 point line got us beat! Your basketball IQ is less than Noah's speech patterns....

Yeah you have been saying it all year with what your 3rd post??? Pathetic post....:(

But the key to the game, was our 3 point shooting vs. theirs...We didnt hit them they hit all theirs, they made every thing they threw up...

And that right there is it in a nutshell! Simply shooting average, or slightly below average, from behind the arc and it is a much different game. But, that is the nature of the game.

Great season Bucks. Your achievements this season make all of us in Buckeye Nation proud that you represent our fine university. Your run through the tournament was a joy to witness and the class with which you won, and handled the few defeats this year, was exemplary. Congrats on all that you accomplished and thanks for the season.

Great season Buckeyes. Congratulations to the Gators. I would have liked a different outcome to be sure, but wow have we come a long way from the Funderburke days. Here's to a bright future and a great group of kids.
