The only thing I have to say in this thread besides Noah sucks and didnt do shit, but will still run his mouth...

I hate the fact that it had to be Florida again...:!

For the first time all year since Otis posted his score more than the other team, we didnt score more than the other team...

But the key to the game, was our 3 point shooting vs. theirs...We didnt hit them they hit all theirs, they made every thing they threw up...

Hopefully these guys feel the distaste in their mouth and want to come back and take that shit next year...

The lessons from Florida's other losses were clear -

Get Florida's big men in foul trouble - check

Shoot well from the free throw line - Buckeyes didn't make the worst of their FT chances at .647, but were outdone by UF who shot .880.

Shoot well from the field - 30-64 is more productive than 26-53, but the key reason for this loss is is

Shoot well from 3-pt range - 4-23 (.174) vs a stellar 10-18 (.556) isn't going to get many checks in the W column.

All that aside though - hats off to Florida for playing a good game, shooting so well from 3-pt range was big for them. Hats off to Conley who came to life more in the second half.
Hats off to Oden who gave everything in that huge body of his, including his heart tonight.

And last but not least hats off to our Basketball Buckeyes. A wonderful season, shame it had to end on a down note.

Now pull for the Thad Five to return en masse!

I am very proud of the Buckeyes season and very proud of the Buckeyes as a whole. (Even Ivan Harris)

I'm obviously very emotional in my response, so forgive me for that. It just sucks seeing an amazing game, by an amazing talent like Oden, end up in a loss, because the shooters weren't hitting shots. (Especially because we may never see him in scarlet and gray again)

If you told me Oden has 24 points and 12 rebounds in this game, I say no way they lose.

That'll be my last post of the night, I like this forum and I don't wanna be banned.

The shame here is not losing to Florida...

It's losing to Florida with a terrible game plan when you should've beaten them by 8-10... how do you forget to go to Oden for the last 12 minutes of the game?? He dominated florida's average big men all game and they were in foul trouble.. here's a clue Thad, when you're 2-12 at half time from outside, you don't have it out there tonight... his game plan was crap, and just like all season, OSU's talent, not coaching won or kept us in ballgames... Thad Matta... overated... been saying it all year.

I know you can't really do this, but damn.... if OSU was able to hit just 5 more 3s than they did, they win this game. 7 of .. what 22? That's not too much to ask... Not to be, I guess. Frustrating no less. Dominated in the paint, had them in foul trouble.. killed us with the 3.
