Ohio State 73 Miami (Fl.) 68 (Final)

Loved the last 10 minutes of the game where our offense was giving it to Turner and letting him drive to the lane. Turner is unreal when he takes over a game like that, then we have a dead on shooter in Diebler he can dish it to when he causes the double/triple team. Just a matter of time before Crater takes over the starting PG job imo. He is a lot faster, plays better defense and overall point than Simmons. Only thing Simmons really has is the abililty to shoot but he would be a good backup. It seemed like Lighty fed off of Turner and Diebler late and started creating some things himself. This team should be a real threat to win the Big Ten and should only improve every game from here on out.

I kind of like Simmons game. He has a good handle, know he isn't going to get jacked, will hit the open trey, and isn't afraid to pull the trigger when he has to. Not saying he should or shouldn't be the starter, be he is a capable Big 10 PG. I like this years PG situation A LOT more than last years situation. Not to take anything away from Jamar. But our offense is NOT dependent on the PG's scoring unlike last year. But Jeremie can put points on the board if we need him too, and teams can't sag off of him like they could with PJ (nothing against PJ - his intensity and D are great).

Unbelievable! I set my DVR to record this because I had to leave right before halftime. Wouldn't you know the stupid thing quit recording with about 2 minutes to go?

Very nice win by the good guys. Hopefully this gives them confidence especially in close ones moving forward. I read somewhere where Turner said last year in close games they were all looking for Butler to save them. Well Evan...looks like you may be that guy now. :) Actually, it be nice for them all to have that confidence down the stretch to step up and hit the big shots. Diebs looks like he's slowly gaining that confidence...

I said last week, these guys might be a lot of fun to watch this season.

ummm did ESPN even talk about the Miami guy taking a shot at the Ohio State player? Man they never mention anything like that.......

Read the Associated Press write-up. Apparently McClinton "barely grazed" Crater's face right after Crater "hit McClinton's face while guarding him."

Go figure. No, it wasn't the freshman getting into the All-American candidate senior's head. It was just a "reflex."

Regardless, the Buckeyes showed poise beyond their years. The leadership we had on the floor was very apparent when you looked at the lack of leadership Miami had. Turner really emerged as a leader-by-example, and Diebler as a go-to guy.

Bring on Notre Dame and Butler, if we can pull off another upset in Indianapolis, I have to like our Big Ten chances

i just got home and watched the second half on DVR. for fun i counted how many references they made to the ejection. by my count they brought it up 12 times in the second half alone! they spent from the 18 minute until almost 16:30 talking about it non-stop. talk about beating a dead horse.

There must have been a memo circulated to all sports broadcasters that every Buckeyes game mandates the worst commentary possible. From Fouts' bitch fest during the NC game, through the multiple year Clarett discussions, to Andre Ware, and now "Noopygate", there has hardly been an OSU game where the announcing was at all palatable. Just call the fucking game.
