the fact they stormed the court should say just how much of a bad loss this is......I am really at a loss of words at this point.

The effort was there......just not smart basketball at crucial times in the game.......leadership is what we are missing.......

Well, that is a very bad loss. Disappointing how this team just hasn't been able to really put it together this season. I hope Koufos doesn't jump to the NBA, because he still needs a lot of work. Still barely on the bubble, but we don't have much of a resume, that's for damn sure. NIT seems more likely.

I don't have up to date info (this is from a couple weeks ago), but I've been told by someone who has spoken with Koufus that he's gone.

Ohio State might win maybe one more. But BUtler isn't gong to help them he has struggled down the stretch. Coming into this game i thought we could make it to the Sweet 16 but i don't think we will make it out of the first round. If the BEat Wisconsin though it would help alot.

nice choke job butler, would've thought 4 years of playing might make someone play the game intelligently, apparently not as he turns the ball over endlessly and plays ZERO defense. Anybody know why Terwilliger still thinks he can shoot the 3 ball ? i have yet to see him make one all season, i wanted to kill him during the MSU game when he shot like 6 of 'em.

Butler didn't choke....did you watch any of the offensive sets in the 2nd half?

The guy with the ball was the ONLY one moving. The rest of them were standing around with their thumbs up their asses....

And Twiggy has hit a few 3s this year so you're wrong there too....

It feels great to end your tourney hopes. You guys are a young team you will be back.
They're not over yet, we still have MSU, Wisconsin and Purdue at home. If there was a year to get Ohio State it was definitely this year, another top 3 recruiting class coming next year and I don't anticipate losing three freshman from this year's class like last year.

:slappy:

what a bunch of pathetic losers up there in AA

Well, when it's your first win in the "big two" sports against Ohio State in something like four years, you have to be extra jubilant.

EDIT: Just short of four years. Michigan's previous win in either football or basketball was Feb 29, 2004 in basketball at Ann Arbor.

Students rushing the court to celebrate at mid-court for beating a young, inexperienced, unranked bubble team.

That shows that, despite losing today's battle, we have most definitely won the fucking war.

Thank you for that, now I have something to say to the only scUM bastard I know.

:oh:

I'm going to go against the grain here and say Ohio State didn't lose this game, since we really didn't play that badly. Michigan won it with outstanding clutch shooting and some fairly good (for Michigan) decision-making. Butler had a bad shooting day, but Koufos, Turner and Diebler did some nice things. Koufos had some excellent rebounds, as did Turner.

This is still a very bad loss that probably put us on the bubble. We likely need to win out.

Michigan has been coached very badly this year IMO. No way they should have as bad a record as they do. Way too much talent there to have lost so many games.
