Ohio State 69 Tennessee 74 (FINAL)

Hey Buckeyes! Don't know if you guys remember me, as I was on here before & after our loss to you guys last year in the sweet sixteen. I'm looking forward to this game tomorrow. Hopefully we can win & get revenge. I'm looking for it to be a close match. I haven't seen many Ohio State games this year. It does looks like you guys have a good player in Jamar Butler. Good luck, and for any tOSU fans at the game. Have fun in TBA!

Go Vols!!

Men's basketball: Vols look forward to rematch with Buckeyes

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

When the Tennessee men's basketball team began offseason conditioning last spring, the workout shirts the players were given had three words stenciled on them.
Remember the Alamo.
The last game the Volunteers played last season was in the Alamodome in San Antonio, about a mile or so east of the mission where Gen. Santa Ana and his Mexican army massacred forces fighting for Texas' independence in 1836.
Tennessee's 2006-07 season died when it lost a 17-point halftime lead and fell by one point to Ohio State in a NCAA South Regional semifinal in the Alamodome. It was the Vols' second loss of the season to the Buckeyes, who had won by two points in Columbus during the regular season.
The battle cry was pretty much forgotten after the offseason program ended. But it will be back on everyone's lips today, when Santa Ana invades 21,678-seat Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn.

Continued........

I loved last years game and the way we came back to beat the Vols. thats what is so great about Buckeye basketball. I'll be rooting my heart out for the Bucks again this year. Love the "remember the Alamo" theme.

I think im going to take a more realistic approach to this game. Its going to take an extra special effort from Butler (given), KK (please do SOMETHING), and IMO, DEEBS, Turner, or Lighty. We are going to need 3 at/around the 15 range to keep this close. OTOH, If we can keep our perimeter D playing well, and shoot the ball well on the raod, it'll be fun to watch. UT is talented, and really wants this one, but we have not found/executed our offensive identity yet. When we do watch out.

PS-Our scarlet is going to look nasty w/their floor

PSS- I was in NOLA for the game, and the guy tailgating next to us owns PILOT truck stops, and flew Bruce Pearl in for the game. Right before I went in I gave him a high-5, and said Go Bucks. Seemed like a pretty cool guy! He was wearing a red shirt!!

Is this game going to be televised? I cannot find anything showing it on DIRECTV, except a CBS channel that says "ESPN alternate game." I guess you guys in CBus will get it on a local channel? Hope I don't have to listen to it on XM Radio :(
