The Spartans have their number but they're still 18-4 and beat us the first time. I wouldn't sell the Gophers short. We'll need a good effort to win.

This game will have a big impact on how the season plays out. A win should put us closer to getting a high seed in the conference tourney, and would even leave the door open for a share of the regular season title (Sparty still has Purdue twice, Wisky, and @ ILL). OSU is not really the same team that lost to Minny a month ago. Hill and Simmons have made tremendous improvement running the point and scoring in the last few games. Buford is getting more looks, and appears to be a guy we can count on for double digit points. Mullens continues to show steady improvement. The big test will be how our zone holds up against Minny's ball movement. Hopefully, a prime time game in the Schott will give us a nice home court advantage.

Fuck Minnesota. I have to hate them in basketball since watching that video. I never seen it back when it happened but its burned into my mind now and I'll hate the buck toothed rodents forever now!

After Sparty handled PSU last nite I hope they are over their mad about the two losses.
I figure that will even the table a little bit. I'm hoping for another big win here to give the Bucks their 20th and move closer to the Tourny.

Totally agree with what you have said but I would add that Mullens and Dallas are going to have to produce for us on the defenses end and on the boards. Sampson III and their other big guy can be somewhat dominating at times but you are correct we are much improved since the last meeting and they did not play well away from Williams Arena.
